Description

A LE CARTEL x Thomas K collaboration.

Created for LE CARTEL's 10th anniversary as part of the "Le Père Noël s'habille en CARTEL" collection, this piece marks a symbolic moment: the passage of a pillar from the shadows to the light.

Graphic designer, illustrator, visual Swiss army knife, Thomas Kauffmann (aka Thomas K.) has been part of the family for most of his life. Arriving in Montreal at the height of the MURAL festival, he discovered the brand... and offered to help the same day. Since then, he's never left the team.

Art direction, web, packaging, shipping, boutique life, his imprint is everywhere. But this is the first time he has signed an official collaboration as an illustrator.

To celebrate these yearsofcollaboration, he offers us a tender, almost childlike work: a visual inspired by his own letter to Santa Claus. Pencil in hand, memory in mind, he conjures up the magic of a sincere, naive and luminous Christmas - like a return to basics.

A first collab full of sweetness and emotion, which we're proud to unveil at the end of the year.

And perhaps... the first of many.
