A LE CARTEL x Leona Rose collaboration

LE CARTEL borrowed Ernest Hemingway’s famous phrase “Paris est une fête” as the title of its new collection. This iconic declaration of love and tribute to the French capital was chosen to celebrate the brand’s arrival in France in 2024 and the opening of its first European boutique. For the occasion, 24 French and Québécois artists were carefully selected and challenged to capture the essence of “Paris est une fête” on fabric. The result: 48 uniquely styled t-shirts blending humor, social commitment, and an ode to Paris.

Leona Rose, a rising star in contemporary painting, was born under the generous sky of southern France. There, she draws her creative essence from the depiction of the sun a central element in her universe. She doesn’t limit herself to painting; her talent also extends to interior design and the creation of illustrations for renowned brands. Her work comes to life on a variety of mediums, from furniture to art objects. Tropical atmospheres and dreamlike visions shape the core of her inspiration, while her style both raw and spontaneous reflects a deep intuition that has guided her hand since her very first brushstrokes.
